History
1921 Jose Suñer and Ana Sanchis started production of folding cartons in Alzira (Valencia).
1937 Factory was sequestered by the Labour Union.
1939 Restoration to its original owners.
1945 A fire caused destruction of production site. With the rebuilding of the factory offset printing was implemented.
1990 Luis Suñer (son of the founders) died; 49 % of company shares were sold to Mercapital (Capital Risk).
1992 Cragnotti & Partners (Italian Capital Risk) purchased Cartonajes Suñer and resold it to Lawson Mardon on year later.
1994 Lawson Mardon was bought by Alusuisse Lonza, a Swiss aluminium and flexible packaging company.
2000 Alusuisse is purchased by Alcan (second largest aluminium producer worldwide).
2004 Mayr-Melnhof acquired the production of folding cartons from Alcan.
